I am Philip DeFranco: Help Me Build A Super Rig

Hey Nation,

I haven’t had a PC in 6 years. I’ve never had a good PC, but I have experience building them (overclocking/water cooling/blah blah). I put myself through college with multiple jobs during my time in college and building people super awesome rigs I could never afford was one of them.

Sooooo….. In the comments below let me know what your “dream rig” would be. If you’d like give me 2 options

Option 1. Wait for LGA 2011 socket to come out and get the i7 3980X with dual SLI Asus ROG Mars II (or more realistically just quad SLI GTX 590s), 8 sticks of Mushkin Redline 17000, Asus Maximus IV extreme mobo. fully water cooled with aquacomputers blocks, pumps, rads, res etc., caselabs case, corsair AX 1200 PSU and Corsair Force Series GT SSDs or Revo drive.

Option 2. pretty much the same, dual SLI EVGA nVidia GTX 580s, i7 3930K, corsair 800D or 650D, and slightly cheaper mobo, only cpu water cooled, and don’t even think about a revo drive.
